In order to develop the computerised data base needed for Dr. Tabershaw's study, we need from each of you a summary of chemicals used in each process building in your plant and the period during which each was used in that building. Phil Lawrence has already run a pilot run on this, and I am attaching a copy of his summary tabulation for four of his buildings. We also know that there has been a reduction in volatile emissions in our plants as well as vessel entry during the past ten years, and perhaps longer. Would you make a judgment as to significant work practice changes and approximate dates where applicable in each, building that may have resulted in such reduction in employee exposure levels. For example, you used some criteria in classifying your people for the initial-TGA study as to high, medium, low and none. You can use the same criteria for the work areas and buildings. Tap a few older heads to check your answer on this because it could be quite important to the value of our study. TCA will probably want more later, but this will give us a good base from which to move forward. 1 am also attaching copies of the plant employee tabulations presented at our June Plant Managers Meeting and your recent response to Bill Wilcox's telephone survey.
