As the analyses show, our asbestos counts are from 0.0005 to 0.022 fibers per ml of sample air. The present OSHA standard incorporates a TLV of 5 fibers/ml of air but will soon be changed to .2 fibers/ml of air. If OSHA's samples are comparable to ours, that should put us in a very comfortable bargaining position with OSHA as to the validity of the alleged violations dealing with asbestos.
