(For all Pydraul customers) Dear Sir: In February, 1971 we announced the reformulation of our Pydraul Industrial fluids to eliminate the use of polychlorinated biphenylB (PCBs) as components of the fluids. Since then vie have reviewed our formulations and taken further steps to remove all chlorinated compounds from our Pydraul fluids. Pydraul fluids containing chlo rinated materials have not been sold to applications like yours since mld-1972. Recently the Food and Drug Administration published in the Federal Register a final rule raking order regulating the presence of poly chlorinated biphenyls (PC'Bs) in establishments processing animal feed, food-packaging material and food. I have attached a copy for your use. It seems appropriate at this time that you thoroughly review your situation to establlah the continued presence of old formula Pydrauls in your operations and to determine if this use is in compliance with the now regulation.
