Kehoe, Dear Dr. Kehoe: ; Mr. E. T. Forman of the London Guarantee & Accident Co., Ltd., whose address is 55 Fifth Avenue, New York City, has shown me some papers in connection with a case that will probably be presentedbefor^the Industrial Accident Board of the State of Massachusetts by a Mr. who worked in the garage of the Stevens-Hader Company (Ford dealers) at Lynn, Mass. This man was taken sick with grippe in the Fall of 1929. In March 1930 he began losing weight and upon consulting his family doctor, Dr. Tuttle of Alton, N. H., was advised that he was suffering from lead poisoning. He stopped working until September 2, 1930. He is now claiming compensation for the lost time, plus medical expense. I have read over his history and he seems to have worked in garages and gasoline service stations practically since fifteen years of age. He is now about twenty-one or twenty-two years old. I have given Mr. Forman your report on Ethyl Gasoline and also the British Committee's Report. Would you please write Mr. Forman any comments you have to make on this case, and it may be that he will call on you to assist them in defending it be fore the Massachusetts Industrial Accident Board.
