DOI Scheduling - I hope this finds you all well. I'm reaching out with the hope of finding some time on Secretary Burgum schedule to meet with Wael Sawan, CEO of Shell. Mr. Sawan's biography can be found here. Mr. Sawan will be in DC and available for a meeting February 19 - 21. Shell is the largest producer of oil and gas in the Federal offshore (Gulf of America) and the largest payor of Federal royalties. The United States is the largest investment within the Shell global enterprise. With this, Mr. Sawan would appreciate the opportunity to talk about policy items relevant to the US (e.g., lease availability, vessel restrictions, bonding and financial assurance policy) and any other global energy matters of interest to the Secretary. Thank you in advance for your consideration! James Schindler Corporate Relations Advisor Shell
