Susan, Please find attached a Summary of the ongoing biosolids challenge Milwaukee MSD (Kevin Shafer) is
facing from EPA Region 5. Kevin and I discussed this matter with Lee Forsgren and are hoping to work with you to keep America's premier biosolids program up and running. The reliance of Region 5 on an external request from the State of DE to take action against MMSD strikes me as a thinly veiled effort to undermine the use of biosolids nationally. I look forward to your thoughts on how to most effectively sort this matter out. Thanks!
