EPA ID: SCD049128598 Dear Mr. Ratliff: On August 19, 2020, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, along with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) conducted a CEI at Schaeffler Group USA, Inc. located at 301 Highway 1 South, Cheraw, South Carolina to determine the facility's compliance status with RCRA and applicable regulations. Enclosed is the EPA RCRA inspection report that indicates deficiencies of RCRA were discovered during the inspection. A copy of this report has been forwarded to the SCDHEC for follow-up and further evaluation in accordance the 2003 Hazardous Waste Civil Enforcement Response Policy.
