East Side Metals accepts approximately 10 small appliances per week for recycling and disposal. Appliances with cut lines are not accepted. Appliances containing refrigerant are set aside and the contractor Rapid Recovery comes about two times per month to recover the refrigerant. East Side Metals, along with their sister yard West Side Metals, jointly own refrigerant recovery equipment, but that equipment is not currently working.
