Breakfast Meeting With Cabinet Officials Saturday, February 22, 2025 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. EST Run of Show Event WGA Governors breakfast meeting with Cabinet officials Location Grand Hyatt Hotel, Room Declaration A 1000 H Street NW Washington, DC 20001 Time 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. EST, Saturday, February 22, 2025 Purpose The meeting provides an opportunity for assembled Governors and Cabinet members to have an off-the-record, informal conversation on issues of mutual interest and seek opportunities for state-federal collaboration on shared priorities. Notes There will be no audio or video recording of the event, nor will any media be present. Attendees may reference the meeting on their social media platforms, but reference to any items discussed at the meeting should be agreed to beforehand by all parties. There will be a group photograph taken at the conclusion of the event. Digital copies will be made available to all attendees. Each Governor and Cabinet official is permitted one staff member to attend the meeting. Governors and Cabinet officials will be seated at a hollow round table. Governor Lujan Grisham will offer greetings and short opening comments. 8:20 a.m. Governor Lujan Grisham will recognize WGA Vice Chair and Utah Governor Spencer Cox for short opening comments. 8:25 a.m. Governor Lujan Grisham will recognize each attending Governor for short comments (23 minutes). Governor Lujan Grisham will simply go around the table, recognizing Governors in turn.
