Dear Bob:
Have just returned from a two weeks' holiday in Florida and feel immeasurably better. Am jotting below notes on the various things that have transpired in which you may be interested.
The annual examination program is meeting with very favorable response* and a number are being processed now*
I am sending herewith our entire file on the case* which I note in your letter of March 13 is being If you wish me to get in touch vdth the Casualty Company* will await your advice*
I will do
so but
I am glad that you were able to find a place for Dautrebande----there has been considerable interest in the use of aerosols* and it will be helpful to be in on the ground floor.
Nothing new has emerged from New York University. Tony Lanza was in town today* and I understand has gone for a visit to Yale where interest is still evident*
I tried to place Kammer with Sylvania ----- they wanted him badly and were'willing to meet his price* but I believe he will elect to take a job with Carbide in connection with a new chemical development of theirs. This has not been announced* but will keep you advised.
I would like to send Jack a sample of lung taken from a suspected case of Be intoxication and would be interested in seeing what he finds.
We have the machinery in motion for plant control analyses* using Jack's method; and as soon as the problems of sampling techniques are solved, may have some results of interest.
Best regards*
