I'm very troubled by'repo'rts that the EPA has indefinitely postponed its ban on methylene chloride (EPA-HQ-OPPT-20160231-0001). Protecting American consumers and workers from dangerous chemicals is at the core of your agency's mission. The longer these rules are delayed the more workers and consumers will be needlessly exposed to chemicals with serious, well-documented health risks. Action on this toxic chemical is long overdue. I urge the EPA to reconsider its decision to delay the rule making process. You should finalize the proposed ban on methylene chloride as soon as possible.
