Following our conversation, I reviewed with our Research group your questions concerning chromatographic techniques for determining ratios of vinyl chloride monomer to freon in an aerosol propellent mixture. Although we have been active in developing chromatographic technique* in analysing vinyl chloride for impurities, we have not specifically designed equipment to make a good separation between vinyl chloride and the various freon formulas. Thus, if we are to be of any assistance to you, we would request that you send us a sample of the mixture that you need to analyse so that we can check It out on the existing columns we have here. After running the analysis, we would be pleased to tell you the conditions for our chromatograph. In order to be sure that this information would be acceptable far your equipment, it would be helpful for you to supply us with the model number and type of auxil iary equipment you have in your laboratory. It appears that information obtained on on* chromatograph under given conditions may not be generated on a different chromatograph under the same conditions. W* look forward to receiving a sample for analysis in our lab and whatever in formation you can give us on your analytical setup.
