Call made on SG-210 carload user.
Sterling Is the first to report in this geography that buniness so far this year is ahead of the same period lest year, although it is still sporadic. Eovard has replaced Lloyd Winter vbo hoc gone into plant production. Howard ashed vhot. if anything, could he tell contractors re asbestos and Bandings. Advised that our limited findings showed that there are regional differences and dry send ings in most cases did show a minute amount of asbestos fiber-vas liberated sug
gested that he t r y to talk any contractors vbo had a concern into vet sponging to
avoid the possibility of any fibers becoming airborne.
Advised Sterling that 35 lb bags looked like the vave of the future, and
asked if he could arrange to handle then. He said he vould, and the next order
ve chip and
future orders should be in 35 lb bags. Sterling also ccemented
that the new pallet shrink vrapping has helped considerably in dust control in their
plant. KC service and dependability of on-time shijnenta vas also brought out by
Sterling.
Based on their purchase pattern so far this year and Clark's ccoaents, their next order flbould cooe in June and they should consume 175 tons this year vs ihB last year and our '75 plan of 150.
