Further to this subject, I now have pleasure in handing you herewith photostat copy of Dr. Gardner's letter of February 21, 1913 to Mr. Vandiver Brown, and also copy of the "Outline of Proposed Monograph on Asbestosis."
I have found this outline to be extremely interest ing. It brings out a number of important new develop ments, but wo feel that reference to the question of cancer susceptibility should be omitted from the report since it is inconclusive.
C I would appreciate receiving any comments which you may have to make concerning the enclosed outline, and also v/ill forward you the final report as soon as received.*
