On behalf of the American Chemistry Council (ACC), I would like to invite you to be the keynote speaker at the Thursday, March 1, 2018 session of our GlobalChem Conference, at the OMNI Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. The conference provides an excellent opportunity to speak directly to the chemical industry's leading environmental, health and safety professionals about your Agency's chemical regulatory initiatives and actions.
GlobalChem is considered the premier chemical regulations conference. The Conference is expected to draw about 450 attendees, including the chemical industry's corporate regulatory officers and other stakeholders who deal with chemical management issues. Our conference covers both U.S. domestic and international chemical regulatory developments. Representatives of the trade press typically attend GlobalChem.
We have greatly valued the significant role that EPA professionals in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention have long played In GlobalChem. Agency staff typically participate as speakers and panelists on key chemical management issues and programs. With the recent TSCA amendments under the Lautenberg Chemical Safety Act, the GlobalChem Conference would serve as an opportunity to speak directly to the regulated community on the impact of the amendments and possible future regulations under reformed TSCA. Key areas of EPA's regulatory agenda that address innovation in chemical screening and risk assessments, and enhancing public confidence in chemicals and chemical management will also be of interest to the attendees.
