In the preparation of thermoplastic resins we in tend using an appreciable quantity of White Lead Paste which will be handled by the workers who prepare the resins and also as an ingredient by the workers who feed the thermoplas tic material into extrusion machines. Due to the nature both of the paste-like white lea,d raw material and the thermoplastic resin itself there is, in our opinion, some danger of lead poisoning that may incur to the workers using these materials. We would greatly appreciate your most competent advice and suggestions as to any precautions which we should take to properly protect the workers in this possible hazardous application of White Lead Paste.
