Attached Sheet The following items are a part of the sale and purchase contract dated January 29, 1982 between Conoco Chemicals and Kanegafuchi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (Kanegafuchi) concerning the letter's catalyst and diluent :
1. Patent License The purchase of the Kanegafuchi catalyst and diluent specified herein includes a license under any patents owned by Kanegafuchi to use such catalyst and diluent in Conoco's commercial and test reactor operations.
2. Technical Information For a period of five (5) years from the date of this sale and purchase contract, Conoco agrees not to disclose to any third party Kanegafuchi's technical information relating to the Kanegafuchi catalyst and diluent specified herein and the manner of using such catalyst and diluent, nor provide samples of such catalyst and diluent to any third party, nor use such technical information except in connection with the use of such catalyst and diluent in Conoco's commercial and test reactor operations.

KANEGAFUCHI CHEMICAL INDUSTRY COMPANY LTD.
The above obligations shall not apply to any technical information of Kanegafuchi disclosed to Conoco which (1) is already known to Conoco, (2) is later developed inde pendently by Conoco without derivation from Kanegafuchi, (3) is or becomes publicly known through no fault of Conoco, or (4) corresponds in substance to information furnished to Conoco by a third party having legal right to do so.
3. Performance No guarantee is given by Kanegafuchi to the performance of the said catalyst and diluent.
4. Technical Assistance Kanegafuchi's personnel will be dispatched to Conoco Chemicals upon request for assisting application of the said catalyst and diluent at Conoco Chemical's expense of absence fee, travel fee, and other necessary charges.
