I give you the title of the publication and the address of the Association below. This publication will be of greater use to you than the individual articles, since it represents a deliberate intention to put together the most pertinent matters of general information for the use of physicians. It is essentially up to date except for the section on therapy, which is now, in some respects, obsolete. I cannot refrain from giving you a word of advice, however. You are evidently concerned with a problem of diagnosis. This, of course, is the provine6 of a physician, and therefore if your case has not been handled by a competent ucian at the proper time, you and your client are in trouble In general, the diagnosis of lead poisoning is not very difficult to make or to rule but for either clinical or legal purposes, if the proper things are done at the right time. An occasional, unusual case may give trouble, but in my experience, the controversial cases are those that have not been handled pre-perl^ at the outset. The most important aspect of the matter, legally, is that qf proving or disproving the significance of the exposure. If your man has been out of exposure for a long time, it may be impossible to establish the facts now, but if Ms exposure terminated only recently, appro priate analytical tests should be made promptly.
