Clark TO Arnold Glass -- Texas City, Texas Dear Arnold, I am pleased to re-appoint you as a member of the 1977 Safety and Housekeeping Action Committee(SHAC). As you know, the Committee last year did a tremendous job, and I am looking forward to working with you and the rest of the new Committee this year. Other members of the Committee are: R. J. Burkett, Charles E. Scott, Jack Carlisle, W. L. Riddick and R. L. Stuart (who will Chair the Committee). The new Committee will assume responsibility on April 1, however you should plan to meet jointly with the outgoing Committee during March, so that an orderly transfer of the responsibilities can be achieved. The SHAC Committee in 1976, chaired by Harold Lacy, did an out standing job, and I am convinced that the team we have selected C for 1977 will adequately fill those shoes and achieve even greater results. Bob Stuart, as Chairman of the Committee, will automatically become a member of the Plant Manager's Safety Board, and will be expected to attend those meetings. If you have any questions concerning this assignment, please see me as soon as possible. I will be out of pocket for a good bit of March, but will be here on March 21 and 22.
