VIA EMAIL: Pruitt, scott@epa.gov
Dear Administrator Pruitt:
On behalf of the approximately 300 member companies of the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA), I invite you to address our assembled members during our 2017 Fall Meeting from October 4-6, 2017 at the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Energy development and environmental protection are key to the U.S. maintaining and strengthening its role as a world leader. Our offshore energy resources are vital to the economic and energy health of our nation. For the first time in many years, we are hopeful of meaningful changes in environmental and offshore polices that will provide a reliable energy and economic base as part of a broad energy portfolio. Your insight of the first few months on the job would be fascinating to our members, many of whom you know well.
NOIA is the only national trade association representing all segments of the offshore energy industry. The NOIA membership comprises companies engaged in activities ranging from producing to drilling, engineering to marine and air transport, offshore construction to equipment manufacture and supply, and telecommunications to finance and insurance. NOIA meetings are the only national events bringing together leaders from all segments of the United States' vital offshore oil and natural gas exploration and production industry, as well as the growing offshore renewable energy industry. More than 150 senior executives and corporate officials with an unparalleled perspective on energy issues are expected to attend the event.
We appreciate your prompt response as we have reserved a general session for your presentation. Please have your scheduler contact Ann Chapman at (202) 347-6900 or achapmarsiAnoia.org for final arrangements for this opportunity. Thank you for considering our request.
