Laura and Chris Hello, This e-mail is being sent to Committee Members of the EPA Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) Inorganic Byproducts Negotiated Rulemaking and people who were interviewed early in the process, observed previous meetings or asked to be on the communication distribution list. Our next meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, September 13 from 9:00 AM- 5 PM and Thursday, September 14 from 9:00 AM - 3 PM. (We anticipate not having the full Committee meet on the 14th until 11:30 AM due to some proposed small group meetings scheduled for the first part of the morning. See the attached agenda for details.) The meeting will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building Oceanic Room. Additional caucus time may be needed in the evening, early morning and over lunch. Committee Members please let us know if you are unable to attend. Several Workgroups, established at the August 16-17 Committee meeting, used Committee input from the August meeting to refine proposals. The goals of this meeting are to present and discuss updated proposals, develop a package of recommendations that Committee Members can tentatively agree to, and outline next steps to refine them and obtain constituent input before the October 25-26 meeting. Committee Members are expected to review the updated proposals closely before the meeting and be prepared to share clarification questions, strengths, concerns/ considerations, and additional ideas on how to improve them. The W orkgroups did not strive for consensus on the updated proposals. Instead, they discussed questions and concerns so that the leads could address and refine them. The Workgroup members are listed at the end of the August 16-17 meeting summary in case you'd like to reach out to them with any initial questions.
