Replacing Aluminized Asbestos will ` bet--AiUIBini26d,--19 oz. PFR Rayon and Thermobest/Norfab 400 19 oz. Jeff Brown reports that A-Best has on hand enough Aluminized Asbestos for 100 coats. If USS were to start up one or two Blast Furnaces, this should cause enough orders to deplete this cloth. Brown will notify Holloway or Meehan when he will start to con tact the big user departments to buy coats and other big item orders (gloves, etc.) so we can work together with the plant to introduce PFR Rayon or Thermobest. If small orders come in, Brown has our O.K. to substitute one to three items in Thermobest cloth to introduce it at a plant - Brown will notify Holloway or Meehan. When A-Best has enough orders to consume the remaining Aluminized Asbestos, we will talk together about issuing a letter to the plants that no more Aluminized Asbestos apparel shall be pur chased. t Holloway will issue a letter to the plants prohibiting the testing of protective apparel without his approval.
