Hey Delaware,
I just celebrated my first 100 days as your newest United States Senator. For 100 days, I've met with Delawareans to hear about their stories. Over and over again, I've heard about the uncertainty caused by the Trump administration. I've heard the concern in people's voices when we're talking about the future of Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.
But it's not just my first 100 days, it's President Trump's as well. Just last week, I had the opportunity to hold an ipne- rson town hall with Senator Chris Coons, Representative Sarah McBride, Governor Matt Meyer, and Attorney General Kathy Jennings where hundreds of Delawareans gathered to tell us how the administration's policies are impacting their lives.
I'm grateful to everyone who has shared their thoughts with me so far. But it's important that your voices are always heard. Let me ask:

LISA BLUNT
ROCHESTER U.S. SENATOR for DELAWARE
Dear Delawarean,
Yesterday, the Senate voted on the Republicans' massive budget bill. This bill would take healthcare away from millions, rip food assistance away from families, and make life more expensive for work-iclnasgs Americans while ballooning the federal debt and deficit. If the House passes this bill, 37,000 Delawareans could lose their SNAP benefits and nearly 55,000 Delawareans could lose their health care. To read my full statement on the bill,

This week, I voted against this bad deal on behalf of the hundreds of Delawareans who called or wrote to me with their story and asked me to protect the programs they need to survive. Now that the bill has passed, I want to hear more from you:
How do you feel about the Republicans' budget bil?l

Hey Delaware,
House Republicans just passed their massive budget bill that would cut nearly $800 billion in Medicaid and health care coverage. It would kick millions of Americans off their health care, raise premiums, cause delays, and shut down hospitals that rural communities depend on. This budget would also institute the largest cut ever to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) - a critical food assistance program that feeds 40
million Americans. To be blunt, that means a lot of families, children, seniors, and adults
with disabilities would go hungry.
As your Senator, it is critical that I hear directly from you on how this legislation would impact you, your loved ones, and your community. I have made this a priority in the Senate. That is why I am reaching out to you today.
Would you or someone you know be impacted by the Republicans' proposed
cuts to Medicaid an/d or food assistance?
