For 100 days, I've met with Delawareans to hear about their stories. Over and over again, I've heard about the uncertainty caused by the Trump administration. I've heard the concern in people's voices when we're talking about the future of Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. But it's not just my first 100 days, it's President Trump's as well. It would kick millions of Americans off their health care, raise premiums, cause delays, and shut down hospitals that rural communities depend on. This budget would also institute the largest cut ever to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) - a critical food assistance program that feeds 40 million Americans. To be blunt, that means a lot of families, children, seniors, and adults with disabilities would go hungry.
