Willett of the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center and I have been discussing the terminal portions of the study entitled "Responses of Lactating Dairy Cows to Polychlorinated Biphenyls - Phase II." Dr. Willett pointed out that an expansion of the protocol, yet maintaining the same objectives, would be a more logical approach to concluding this study. I have reviewed his suggestions (attached) and concur that they would strengthen the overall project. These changes would require that the termination date of the project be extended from July 1, 1985 to November l, 1985 and Monsanto supply additional funding in the amount of $39,778. The latter amount will be forwarded to the OSURF within 60 days of finalization of this addendum. Would you please make the appropriate amendments to extend the Agreement for Cooperative Research originally dated August 16, 1983 and amended August 13, 1984 to reflect the aforementioned changes.
