Under the theme "Africa in the Atlantic: Time for Action", participants will explore greater foundation for cooperation by capitalizing on the potential of both the North and South, leveraging on Africa's burgeoning dynamism. Launched in 2012 by its founding partners, the German Marshall Fund of the United States and OCP Policy Center of Morocco, The Atlantic Dialogueshas become a recognized annual tradition for decision-makers to discuss cross-regional issues and shared policy challenges shaping the future of the four continents around the Atlantic Basin. This initiative underscores the growing importance of Africa and Latin America as actors in the Atlantic space and promotes a more comprehensive approach to transatlantic relations, paying special attention to North-South and South-South relations. You will be joined by senior government officials, business leaders, academics, and media represntatives from Africa, the Americas, the Caribbean, and Europe, as well as other places that demonstrate a renewed interest in the Atlantic. Through interactive panels and smaller break -out sessions, The Atlantic Dialogues conference looks to create opportunities for networking and intellectual debate.
