Dear Sir: I wish to acknowledge reoeipt of your letter of May 29th, on the suhjeat of registration of the word "Anaoonda" with the trade mark hythe Glidden Company. Our legal department, both Col. ShoreB and ltr. Wolf, are so buay on matters of vast importance that we oannot bring this question up with them at this time. Personally, I think if they will transfer the registration to us that it might cower the case satisfactorily. !.Ve do not, however, appreciate their aotion in doing this. I aannot see how the trade mark bureau of the Paint & Varnish Associ ation would issue a trade mark that had previously been taken out by some one else, end I understand that this is the oase when we applied for the Anaoonda trade-mark.
