Loschiavo's letter (see attached), I request an assertive effort be made to obtain blood C-8 data on the fol1owing persons: Retired male Fluoropolymers Division employees. Male employees transferred out of the Fluoropolymers Division to other Washington Works Divisions. Blood C-8 data on males who have left the Fluoropolymers Division are extremely rare. For this reason, I request that sampling of these persons be increased from once a year to once every six months. This data is needed to accurately determin the rate of C-8 elimination from the body. C-8 results from retired employees have been scant because of lack of participation in our program. Follow-up through Medical Division is recommended to increase participation.
