PLANT Page 5 RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS Table I shows the results of monitoring. All airborne concentrations were within acceptable limits. All four workers removed asbestos insulation from a reactor and cleaned up the area at the end of the day. Two area samples were taken, however, one sample was lost because of a pump problem. Asbestos was not detected in the area 20 feet downwind of the reactor. RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Approved guidelines for asbestos removal were followed on the day of monitoring and resulted in acceptable airborne concentrations of asbestos.
