Elder American Public Health Association 1790 Broadway New York 19, New York Dear Frank: I have heard from most of the persons to whom I wrote requesting opinions on the 1943 A.P.H.A. Bulletin, "Occupational Lead Exposure and Lead Poisoning". It is the unanimous opinion that the bulletin should be reprinted and that it should be revised before printing. A further opinion was expressed by several persons that the format should remain essentially as it is, with the same title. Certain sections need to be revised and brought up to date, while other should have new and additional information added. Several suggestions were made as to the method for handling the revision. All, however, suggest that Dr. Kehoe be consulted, and even requested to again chair the committee. I would suggest also that one member of the Occupational Health Section could be designated as liason member between the Committee and the Section to help steer the project. Dr. Kehoe should be given freedom in his choice of committee members, but I would assume that he would wish to appoint as many of the original committee as possible. If you approach Dr. Kehoe and he accepts the charge, I will be glad to forward to him copies of the replies I have received.
