Tait MH 78691 IP-210 X3449 After reviewing the Western Electric Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Human Factors Engineering "Company Instructions and Guidelines"; the following topics are offered for consideration by the Standards Committee. These topics are tentatively divided Into Bell Labs Instructions (Company Instructions) and Guidellnes. Instructions refer to systematic programs while guidelines are discrete subjects and procedures. Some of these topics may be redundant and can be compressed into a single stan dard. Additional assistance should be requested to prepare some of tnese standards. Lists of the proposed topics are attached. The Standards Committee has proposed two alternative formats; (1) a developed format similar to the Western Electric "Cor<q>any Instructions and Guidelines" and (2) a generalized format similar to the Bell Labs Allentown Safety Manual.
