Pittsburg, PA. 15219 Dear Sir; Back in September of 1991, I received a letter, over your signature, notifying of a "study" being conducted for Alcoa by the University of Pittsburg. Raving served as President of Local 405, Aluminum Workers International union, for many years, I have experienced two such "studies" for Alcoa by the University of Pittsburg. I remember both "studies" as being 'constructed' to present a predetermined position. I believe the University at that time was a recipient of large grants from Alcoa. I am personally acquainted with many "next of kin" of former employees, but so far I have not heard of any being so contacted. I am requesting that I be given a copy of the "results" of your noted study. By that I mean the real results, not just that "made public by the middle of next year". I have a very personal interest in your "study", since I am one of the victims diagnosed with the asbestos desease, resulting from, as I remember, Alcoa's wanton and reckless use of asbestos products. I also remember Alcoa's use of unprotected sulfuric acid, caustic soda spray, lead additives flash, and cc; Lawrence Hanna way and Associates 752479 0068
