Dear Dr* Spolyar:
'
Your February 26 letter addressed to cur hr* G. K `.'illis Alexandria Plant Manager has been referred to me*
V?e manufacture fhernncoU3tic by nixing ingredients as follows*
.
,
Granulated Kineral Vool Type X
Anosito (asbestos)
. Portland Cewcnt
.
Glare h
Cut fungicide
.' .
Even though our nixing operation is enclosed and exhaust ventilation is used vo make available for the non who operate the aixers a oine Gaiety Appliances (Confo) Dust Respirator, BH-2130 for Fibrosis producing dusto and ;:icta v?e feel this protection is necessary because of the asbestos used in the product*
.
If there is dust present where Therstacoustic is being applied on the job at Ft* Harrison, in ay opinion, the applicators should wear the sane equipment.
You nay recall that I worked with your hr* Bumbstead several years ago on a problem at Alexandria and as the result gained respect for your department. If there is anything further you would like to know that pertains to the Ft* Harrison job please do not hesitate to ask*
Very truly yours.
