In July of 2006 3M notified the EPA that prelimina ry data had been received from a study suggesting an effect of perfluorooctanesulfonate (PFOS) and per fl uorohexanesulfonate (PFHS) on body weight, food consumption, and serum cholesterol in 15% dieta rv fat fed E3 Leiden transgenic mice in vivo . The final repo rt for this study is enclosed .
