VCM CO_MPLIANCE * Activity for the reporting period was limited to the collection of sixty-six (66) personnel dosimetry samples, 21 of which indicated overexposure. Seven (7) of the exposures occurred to personnel who spend a good deal of time away from the VCM process units. Since the last report, several additional leakage sources were identified, including the old module dump Sweco exhauster and evacatuion jets. These emission sources coupled with prevailing summer wind patterns are believed to be causing overexposures to the seven (7) above mentioned personnel. Plans call for the rerouting of an obsolete section of fresh air duct to the new control room. This will eliminate lead operator overexposures (five (5) of the seven (7) above overexposures). The remaining fourteen (14) overexposures occurred to operating personnel who were performing tasks which required the use of fresh air masks.
