Sydney,
Thank you for your note. Any possibility of something a little bit earlier in the day? Shell president Bruce Culpepper has a lunch meeting with several other CEOs who are also in town for meetings. Any possibility for 11 a.m.?
Thank you,
Mamie

Ryan and Samantha,
I hope you are well and settling into your new roles. Congratulations on your new leadership opportunities! I am personally thrilled with your appointments. I look forward to working closely with you and supporting your efforts.
I am writing to request a meeting with Administrator Pruitt for Bruce Culpepper, Shell US Country Chair, and Greg Guidry, Shell Executive Vice President of Unconventionals, on the morning of Monday, May 15th. Mr. Culpepper and Mr. Guidry would like to update Administrator Pruitt on Shell's operations in the US and discuss policy issues within EPA's jurisdiction that impact Shell's various lines of business.
If the morning of May 15th is problematic, both Shell leaders have some availability on May 16th.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Mamie Funk

He's airborne now and scheduled to land at 5pm, so it's possible we could get there by 530, but more likely 540p.

Might need to go back to original plan of a phone call. Estimating that the Governor wouldn't be able to get here until close to 6?

Sydney - the Governor advises that he's boarding now. If all goes well, he'll be in the air soon, but won't land until 5pm. Does the Administrator have any flexibility if we head straight for the EPA upon arrival, or do we need to look at other options?

Sydney - the Governor would like to discuss CERCLA 108(b) hard rock mining regulations, a local mine that we've been working with EPA Region 9 on (to avoid Superfund) and funding for the EPA delegated programs for air and water.
On the logistical side, we will have a Virginia State Police officer driving us, but I've told him that we don't need him to accompany us in the building. However, would it be possible to have a space for him to park while he waits for us? Could you let me know the best place to enter, etc?
Thanks!

It's tight. The Governor is meeting with Secretary Perry at 10am, and then with the Attorney General was shifted to 11:15, so it makes it pretty difficult. The Governor would be available in the morning as well - could accommodate a breakfast meeting or anything up to a 9am meeting. We could also try to do a late meeting on the 25th, he lands at 330pm, so we could try to make a 5p or 6p meeting work, too.
Appreciate anything you can do to help make this work! Copying Troy, who I discussed this with earlier today as well.

Got it. If you are wanting to do the 26th, the only thing we have that day is the 11:45. No chance of that working?

Sydney - any chance that the Administrator has time avail after 12? The Governor is scheduled to be with the Attorney General at 11am, and while DOJ is close to you guys, I worry about putting those too closely together. I don't want to run late for your boss.

Hope this email finds you well! Doug Hoelscher asked me to reach out to you regarding a follow up call between Gov. Sandoval and the Administrator. He offered the 26th of April as a possibility. Would 11:45 work that morning?
