Gentlemen; Amwondering whether or not you could suggest a cure for lead poisoning which is causing considerable concern to a station operator of our distributor at Austin. This chap has evidently been somewhat careless in the handling of leaded gasoline and told me that it developed last July when he was accustomed to wearing leather gloves and frequently saturated the gloves with leaded gasoline. He shortly noticed a slight breaking out on his hands and the condition has continued until now the skin covering both hands, or the backs of his hands, is hard and dry and frequently cracks open in various places. . He has been doctoring during the past several months during which time the Doctor has changed a salve prescription several times but the condition of his hands is not showing any improvement. I, of course, cuationed him against' spilling leaded gasoline on his hands or elsewhere on his body and if he did get gasoline on his hands to promptly wash them with soap and water but beyond that I could not give him any specific remedy for his trouble and if you know what might be used for cleaning up this condition I am sure it will be appreciated.
