Quarles, Shaw, and Voodvard to discuss action to be taken on the referenced report in which results of asbestos analyses of 99 dust samples obtained fron Research and Engineering Center were given. Forty-two were negative for asbestos dust and fibers (<155). The thirteen sanples that gave a presumptive positive test were subsequently analyzed by X-ray diffraction to confirm the type and amount of asbestos present. As indicated on the attachment, six samples oontained more than 1$ ohrysotile asbestos, one of which also contained 2-355 amosite asbestos. Arrangements will be made to have an industrial hygienist survey these areas and study work practices to determine if employes are exposed to airborne asbestos fibers.
