Hi - there are some individuals at EPA that are working on uranium mining issues on Navajo Sites. Is there a particular time that works best for Gavin today? These folks are located in EPAs Crystal City office. I would be happy to make a connection for you. Charlotte

Many thanks! I noticed Gavin said "Wednesday, Jan. 29" in the email, so he might actually be available on Wednesday. I am clarifying with him.

Nancy-
Gavin Noyes is a close friend of mine since college. He is working with Native Americans in Utah where there is considerable contamination from old uranium mines. They know little about the superfund program, and interested whether their lands would be a good candidate for funding.
He will be in town Jan. 29. Any chance you could either do the introduction or send me contact information with the appropriate people in EPA?
Thanks!

Fli Stu, It was great talking with you last weekend and my trip to DC is planned for next week, Jan 29-31.1ended up cancelling the flight I had made when I spoke to you, and re-booked to be in town through Wednesday, so if it still works I'd love to meet up with you while I am there.
Also, I'd love to get your help arranging a meeting at EPA to discuss Superfund issues in San Juan County, Utah. I will be traveling with one or two tribal leaders from the Ute Mtn Ute Tribe and Navajo Nation who would be very interested in discussing this issue with the right folks.
The best time for us during our trip to meet with EPA would be on Wednesday, Jan 29th anytime before 4 PM.
Thanks and it will be great to see you next week, Gavin
