I wanted to provide the following updates:
First, we have a large set of questions that came in from the Hill (THUD Senate Maj/Min + House Min) on Friday regarding EO Unleashing American energy and DEI. The main focus is getting a sense of the Department's next steps on how we are implementing the EO on Unleashing American Energy and Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs. We will work on crafting responses, pulling in the appropriate folks (OST-M, S3, OGC, etc.) (b)(5)
Second, OMB reached out this morning to inform me that they expect a formal memo on EO Unleashing American Energy to come out this afternoon. That memo is government-wide and will provide a template for us to fill out --basically requiring us to take our recommendation memo and distill it into the OMB spreadsheet.(b)(5)
