McCullough SHAC has appointed a special task force in light of several rail crossing safety problems uncovered as a result of the train-pick-up truck collision in December. The task force should address itself to the recommenda tions published in the incident report (attached) as well as to other potential hazards involving railroad traffic. You have been selected to serve as chairman of this task force in line with your background and interest in this subject, as well as your demon strated managerial ability. Other members of this task force are W. T. Anderson, Charlie Freeburgh, A. J. Stroud and Hi Treaccar. Gene Stacy will serve as your SHAC contact for this project, and will be involved in providing direction for implementing your recommendations.
