Any serious deficiencies requiring immediate corrective action are identified in the report and were reported to cognizant shop or code supervisory personnel at the time of the inspection. To track and account for the correction of deficiencies, annotate the Master Copy of the inspection report located in the Ship Superintendent's waterfront office upon completion of,your action. Garlock gasket material was being used at the following locations to fabricate gaskets without taking precautions for control of asbestos dust. Portable emergency lighting equipment is required by OSHA 1915.52(d) when the temporary lighting is from sources outside the vessel and the only means of illumination.
