This event will take place on 11-12 July 2023 in Geneva in response to UNEA resolution 5/7 in which the ED was requested to seek views on priorities for further work, building on existing measures and initiatives, and on potential further international action on the 19 Issues of Concern discussed in the UNEP Assessment Report. The resolution also requested the preparation of a summary analysis, taking into account the views received. A call for written inputs will be launched by UNEP at the end of May 2023 and a summary of views will be drafted for consideration at UNEA 6. Please note that the EU/MS Lines To take on "priorities for further work and on potential further international action on IoC" will be coordinated by the WPIEI chemicals and synergies. (SPF Sant Publique - FOD Volksgezondheid) and (SPF Sant Publique - FOD Volksgezondheid) will be attending the face-to face Global Consultation and will be coordinating the BE position via the CCIM chemicals network.
