LOUISIANA 7076S-01S0 BOA 38B-B000 DIVISION ASSIGNMENT CHANGES The following Louisiana Division assignment changes are being announced today: -J. A. (Jim) Diamond has been appointed plant manager for the Russellville, Arkansas Plant. He will report to Louis Shelton, General Manager for Industrial Chemicals at the Texas Division. Diamond replaces Robert Woods who is transferring to the Western Division. -C. W. (Carey) Brannan will move from the Polyethylene-B Plant and assume plant superintendent responsibility for the Chlorine Plant, replacing Diamond. Brannan reports to R. A. Gaska in his new assignment. -T. K. (Tim) Holder will move to Polyethylene-B, replacing Brannan as plant superintendent, and will report to J. S. Biggs. -J. J. (Joe) Muller, Jr. has been promoted to plant superintendent for the Caustic Plant, replacing Holder. He will report to R. A. Gaska. Diamond joined the Louisiana Division in 1968 after completing a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University. He spent eight years in the Caustic Plant, advancing to production supervisor. He moved to the Chlorine Plant in 1976 and was appointed plant superintendent there in 1979. Brannan joined the Louisiana Division in 1968 in the Division's Special Assignments Program, then moved to Polyethylene-B as a production chemist. He was promoted to production specialist in 1975, and was promoted to plant superintendent in 1978. He has a bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama. Holder has B.S. and M.S. degrees from Tennessee Tech University. He joined the Louisiana Division in 1976 upon graduation, and was assigned to the Polyethylene-B Plant. He spent eight years there, advancing to production supervisor in 1984, and was appointed plant superintendent for the Caustic Plant in April 1986. He spent nine years in the Cellulose Plant, advancing to Production Supervisor in 1976. He moved to Glycol II in 1977 as production supervisor, and in 1981 he moved to the DOEO Technology Center as technical manager. He then transferred to the Chlorine Plant as production supervisor in 1984. These are excellent developmental moves for the people involved, and will also strengthen the affected groups by their acquisition of experienced, proven Dow professionals. R. W.
