Bell - PPG The purpose of the conference call was to outline the remaining post-public hearing comments on VDC to EPA TSCA Section 4 and to discuss how and who should follow-up on contacting various consultants and EPA contacts to assure that the industry position will prevail. B. Dickson and R. Romano will complete the post-hearing comments by 3/6/87. The CMA panel wanted S. Hearn to contact Rory Connonly (consultant) to get his opinion and direction on several questions he would need answered in order to outline the appropriate pharmocokinetic studies to help improve EPA's Air Program's risk assessment for VDC. J. Norris was to contact Mark Greenberg (EPA CAG) to get his opinion as to the seven unanswered questions raised during the public hearing and to help prioritize these for industries' consideration. R. Romano (CMA) will, after discussing with J. Norris after her conversation with Mark Greenberg, contact Gary Timm (OTS) to informally advise EPA of the CMA effort to develop information that may benefit EPA's Air Program. A scientific and strategy session will be held in Detroit on March 13, 1987 to refine the industry's position and testing that we may be willing to undertake.
