Sardiner, President 3. F. Beeves, Tice President A* M. Wilson, Vise President L. T. Boalo, Director the Meeting was called to order hy Mr. J, I. Bardiner, who presided, and Mr. A. M. Wilson, reported the Minhtee of the Meeting. The Minutes of the Meeting of June 19, were read and approved. Mr. Beeves reported that our CAB, in the anount of $555,06*}, to cover the rebuilding and modernisation of our Linseed Oil Refinery, had been approved by the Mew Tork office. Mr. Beeves reported that our DAB, ia the anount of $1,655*00, to over the cost of removing six hand furnaces from ear Oxide Department, had been approved by the Mew Tork office. Mr* Beeves stated, in reference to several comments in previous minutes, that the Onion negotiations at the plant were now virtually complete^. Following an outline made by Mr. Beeves, of an appeal that had just been received froa the American Bed Cross Blood Donor Service, it was decided to continue oar cooperation as in the past. Mr. Beeves read a letter received from a resident la the vicinity of our factory, complaining about industrial fumes from our Linseed Oil Refinery. This matter will automatically be corrected as our new Refinery Is put into operation. Mr. Beeves presented a letter from the War Food Administration following a study at our plant of our protection against sabotage and other destructive acts. The report Indicated that our own actions on this matter were so complete recommendations by tho War Food Adminiat ration woro unnecessary.
