This is a revision of my original proposal to you dated 9/9/81 and shows an increase of $197M in NIFS. Items of particular interest are: 1) Price of SG-103-5 and -7 was held at $144/T because of the present uncertainty in the floor tile market. 2) SG-104 has been raised from $126/T to $128/T, not 130, which represents a psychological price barrier we would rather not reach. 3) RG-100 and RG-144 are priced at $800/T (rather than $810) because of our reluctance to "kill the goose with the golden eggs." 4) RG-244 has been increased to $3700/T as discussed. 5) CSV and SHURLIFT are raised to $200/T and UNIVIS to $210/T (rather than $195 across-the-board) to reflect differences in normal costs and to partially correct a poor margin situation. 6) SG-100-EX has been held to $136/T instead of $140/T as first proposed to avoid loss of our major customer, Nozawa, with the understanding that we will maintain the low price only as long as necessary or until we have to change it. 7) HPP-EX has been held to $216/T (rather than $220/T) reflecting extreme price resistance at weveral accounts. (This is still 90% of our domestic FOB, KC price which we give domestic distributors, anyway.) . 8) SX-14 and 5X-24 are shown at $560/T and $2200/T, respectively, which are about 5% above original budget, but still lower than comfortable. We should keep the pressure on these guys. UCC 025480 Mr. W. C.
