Second, the Council's work on the leading edge of health Issues educates member companies' environmental, medical, safety, and regulatory personnel and puts them In contact with top academlans, scientists, and regulators. This added knowledge could benefit UNOCAL by preventing potential liabilities In the handling of your chemicals by your employees and customers. Finally, If the chemical industry doesn't support organizations devoted to regulations of chemicals based on sound scientific reasons, who will?
