The attached operating procedure describes the supem ate treatment test and incorporates the requirement that the treated supem ate w ill not be processed at Washington W orks unless the concentration o f FC-143 is less than 10 parts per m illion (ppm). In addition testing w ill be performed to assure that sufficient Triton has been removed so that foam will not be expected to forni when this water is discharged through O utlet 005 to the Ohio River, in addition the trench leading to Outlet 005 w ill be monitored for foaming and visible solids during the treated supem ate discharge.
