Kehoe Kettering Laboratory University of Cincinnati Cincinnati, Ohio Dear Dr. Kehoe, It has been quite a long time since you studied my case of lead absorption. However, I am writing in the hope that your memory or| your records of my case may help. This is the situation. I am apprbaching retirement and in discussing this with our personnel people find that I will not get credit for time I spent in Cincinnati. This credit is not being allowed since time spent on the disability wage roll does not receive credit for pension calculations. As I recall, I came to Cincinnati about March 20, 19^4 with Basil Combs after you ,had arranged for lead absorption studies with The Du Ptint Company. After staying there for a short time, as I recall, you told me I whs ready to return to work but would I consent to stay so you could make some tests. I was glad to cooperate and stayed in Cincinnati until about October 2, 1944. The Company records here indicate that all the time I was in Cincinnati I was unable to work. If you could give me a statement that some part of this period I was ready for work, it might clarify the record and add to my pension. - While this period of time is small in 30 years of service t I would like to receive credit for all I feel I deserve.
