The twenty-four hour urine sample of your patient arrived a few days ago and is now in the process of analysis, so we will he able to report to you in about a week.
I note from your letter that an abnormal amount of lead had been reported as being present in this m a n 's urine. M a y I ask w h e t h e r or n o t arsenic determi n a t i o n s were- also done?
It would be advisable in estimating this m a n 's e x p osure an d as an aid in interpreting urinary lead finding, to have also a specimen of stool for analysis.
If we can be of any further service to you, kindly let us know.
Very truly yours,
